Are World of Dance host Jenna Dewan and Broadway star Steve Kazee together?
According to an Entertainment Tonight report, published on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, the actress-dancer and Tony Award-winning actor have reportedly been dating for a few weeks now following Dewan’s split from ex-husband Channing Tatum.
According to a source cited by The Blast, while their alleged blossoming romance is still “fairly new,” Dewan is reportedly “extremely excited” about it. The insider added that they’ve already “hung out with her friends, and are beginning to feel more comfortable” about the idea of going public.
Amid these recent reports, Dewan, 37, and Kazee, 43, were spotted multiple times together this past week. Most recently, they celebrated the theatre star’s birthday with a group of friends at the Haunted Hayride in Griffith Park, Calif. on Monday night, Oct. 29, as fellow actress Ginifer King documented on her Instagram Stories.
At the time of this writing, neither Dewan nor Kazee have publicly commented on this dating speculation. While readers might recognize Kazee for his appearances in television shows like Shameless and Nashville, he’s most known for his work on the stage. In 2012, he won the Tony for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance in Once.
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Dewan officially filed for divorce from Tatum, 38, on Friday, Oct. 26 — six months after the former couple announced their shocking separation. The amicable exes share 5-year-old daughter Everly. “We have lovingly chosen to separate as a couple,” they released in a joint statement on social media in April 2018. “We fell deeply in love so many years ago and have had a magical journey together. Absolutely nothing has changed about how much we love one another, but love is a beautiful adventure that is taking us on different paths for now.”
Rumors that Dewan was back in the dating game first surfaced earlier this month, when an insider told Us Weekly that she was reportedly “seeing someone new.” Just hours after filing her divorce papers last week, The Resident star was reportedly spotted kissing and holding hands with her mystery man, who notably matched Kazee’s description, at a Halloween party in Beverly Hills. The pair allegedly “could not keep their hands off of each other,” a source told E! News at the time, adding, “They definitely seemed like they were dating.”
For his part, Tatum has also reportedly moved on. The 21 Jump Street star was romantically linked with British pop star Jessie J in early October 2018. The two have supposedly been dating for a few months now, but as a source recently told Us Weekly, “It’s new, casual and they’re having fun together.”
