Campari Group has released a 30-year-old expression from its Appleton Estate rum brand. Limited to 4,000 units, Appleton Estate 30 Year Old is a blend of rums, the youngest of which has been aged for at least 30 years. According to Campari, the oldest rum in the blend is around 50 years old.

Of the 4,000 bottles, 900 will go to the US.

Appleton previously released a 30-year-old iteration in 2008, with the roll-out limited to 1,440 bottles.

Master blender Joy Spence said: “We are very proud of this limited blend, which includes a rare mix of rum dating back decades and demonstrates the high-quality rum Jamaica is known for.”
