Hilma – 6 year old female Cross-Breed dog for adoption

Hilma is a six year old small to medium sized crossbreed. Hilma is fostered in Marsham (FR001).
Hilma has spent her last few years in the Radauti public shelter in Romania where conditions are harsh and mortality is really just pot luck.

It is always astounding when these dogs that have lived long term in such conditions emerge with their joy for life still intact. Hilma is the happiest dog around and is just delighted to now be around humans and home life.

This cheery little girl loves nothing better than a cuddle and a tummy rub. She’s learnt very quickly to walk on lead and is even well behaved off lead. She loves children and gets on brilliantly with other dogs but is not yet cat tested.

We are a voluntary organisation with members from all over the world that have come together to help dogs in need, regardless of their location. To date we have helped dogs from Spain, Cyprus and Turkey but the majority of our work takes place in Romania where we have built up strong relationships with many dedicated rescuers before bringing the dogs to the UK and into foster care for rehoming.
