LSU vs. Florida: live updates, scores, highlights from The Swamp | NCAA Football

No. 5 LSU travela to The Swamp to take on No. 22 Florida in Week 6 at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS.

The last four meetings between these two teams have been decided by a touchdown or less.

The Tigers (5-0, 2-0 in SEC) are coming off a big 45-16 win over Ole Miss. Junior quarterback Joe Burrow had a breakout performance, throwing for 292 yards and three touchdowns. He rushed for an additional 96 yards and another touchdown.

This game could have major College Football Playoff implications for both teams, including the Gators (4-1, 2-1). Florida is coming off a narrow 13-6 victory over Mississippi State. The defense was dominant in that game and sophomore quarterback Feleipe Franks (22 of 31 passing for 219 yards) did what he needed to do to give the Gators a close win.

Florida vs. LSU

4:01 p.m.- Burrow is sacked and fumbles. The ball was recovered by Florida’s Kyree Campbell. 

4:00 p.m.- After a 15-yard penalty, two consecutive runs from Clyde Edwards-Helaire get LSU the first down. The ball is on the Florida 28. 

3:57 p.m.- Tigers get the first down on an 11-yard pass from Joe Burrow to Stephen Sullivan. 

3:55 p.m.- Tommy Townsend punts, Jonathon Giles returns it to the LSU 24. 

3:53 p.m.- The Gators are unable to score on their opening drive of the game. They will punt. 

3:50 p.m.- Gators first down. After a six-yard gain on a complete pass from Feleipe Franks to Van Jefferson, Jordan Scarlett runs for six yards and a first down. Ball on the Florida 37.

3:46 p.m.- LSU Touchdown. Nick Brossette runs for a four-yard touchdown. Cole Tracy’s kick is good. Tigers lead 7-0.

3:45 p.m.- Joe Burrow completes a pass to Dee Anderson for a seven-yard gain. Ball is on the Florida 4 and a first down. 

3:43 p.m.- LSU is working their way down the field. Three consecutive runs for Nick Brossette puts the Tigers on the Florida 15 and another first down. 

3:41 p.m.- Joe Burrow’s first pass of the game is complete to Justin Jefferson for 38 yards and a first down. The ball is on the Florida 37.  

3:40 p.m.- Florida won the coin toss. LSU will receive.

3:36 p.m.- It’s almost time. LSU is ready for war!

3:03 p.m.- The Gators are ready. Kickoff is less than 30 minutes away. 

2:05 p.m.- Here are the Gators uniforms for today’s matchup against LSU.
